This morning a cast swarm took up lodging in a hole in the wall of a barn next to my apiary. I am pretty certain they are not mine. Last year a swarm did the same thing but died within a couple of weeks. There is no way I can extract the swarm. The barn's new owner is not going to be a happy man as conversion is currently underway to incorporate it in his dwelling. How can I reluctantly kill the bees ASAP. The barn is built of mud and the hole about 4 cm diameter 2m from the ground.

Ermm you might be able to vacum them out if there is power, some people have those funky hoovers specifically designed to hover up bees without killing them. A sad decision to make though.
