Hello, I've been lurking for a while reading a lot and thought it was time I introduced myself.

I'm Taff, living in somerset and fortunately for me santa managed to get a National hive down the chimney along with a smoker, suit, bee brush, hive tool etc.

I did a beginners course with a local BKA 2 years ago and have just started it again, this is the year that I get my first hive up and running so you can stand-by for lots of questions.

I have someone that has agreed to be a mentor and has invited me down to his hives when he opens them for the first time this year which should be in about a fortnights time.

have a virtual pint on me :cheers2:

Welcome taff. Can't wait for you to get some bees and hear how you get on.
