Been studying the subject for years, took courses more than once but until now, never really had the space, time and energy.
Finally 3 nucs and a hive..........one thriving colony...........but.........
They avoided all swarm traps and headed for the air brick in the house.
They look like they are doing fine (apart from daily robbing from nearby as the entrance is too big to defend).
Just wondering if the robbing will entice them to more suitable accommodation! A little tempted to reduce the entrence for them, but that could mean more honey ballencing above my TV.

Hello from Wales too
No they will just get robbed out and perish or be reduced to a small colony unable to survive the winter.

Thats a pity, my only sniff of a swarm and they may not make it.
If you see swarms on the sunny side of the mountain, give me a call!
