Quite so. I especially like the word 'necessarily' in there. Its almost redundant wording. We are beekeepers...........to most people thats already labels us as 'nuts'................and we probably all are.
LOL, so glad you're being rhetorical

so am somewhat at a loss to understand your ire, particularly the rather unpleasant reference suggesting I'm a racist of some sort for daring to suggest that there are several methods for dealing with bedbugs.....
...........to most people thats already labels us as 'nuts'................and we probably all are.
Monocultural was a 'play' on your aversion to monocultural farming.
But I'm taking this thread off in even more directions now so I'll stop before I annoy more people that I've already annoyed today.
Always got time to read your posts; they are considered, polite, and well-informed. At times like this I greatly admire your patience.
I seem to remember being told this was a broad church that represented all views, not one where people could be banned by lynch mob or simply because they had different or unusual views about things that affect bees.
It should be remembered that being in a minority of one doesn't necessarily make a person wrong - or nuts.
Chris
Never tried to hide. Why would I?
Just interested - what did you make of Chris Hartfield's exchange with Zac Goldsmith after citing you as key evidence for one of the reasons not to ban neonics?
As we have a thread dedicated to the parliamentary hearing now I would suggest moving this discussion over there and to leave this thread to its original topic.

Not listened to any of it. Although active here tonight I have been heavily involved with a family bereavement over the last few days and broke off long enough to attend the bee health strategy meeting in Perth today (at which Gavin was also present). May never get time to listen to it, as i will still be very much tied up with other matters for the next few days.
BTW............For those of you who think Gavin and I are joined at the hip and are a united front you should have been there today........lol.
FWIW I have no issues with people presenting their point of view in a rational and lucid manner.......such as Gavin, and on here Karol,.............irrespective of whether they agree with me or not. Debate is good.even statements of position are good. Better than intemperate language and sulking.
Sorry to hear your news.
