Ormskirk Beekeepers will be at Haigh Show tomorrow. If you're in the area why don't you drop by, I'll be there by the observation hive :)

And if you have an interested young friend or relative bring them along!

The show goes on all day in Windmill Field Haigh, Wigan.

Be there or be square

It's on my patch so I will try and call
I worked as a volunteer in the walled gardens and we tried to set up some Hives but the management refused because of the Rhododendrons growing and concerns over toxic honey
There are several feral colonies in some old outbuildings that where part of the old zoo

You did point out that bees range further than the bounds of the walled gardens and pssst! Bees get in past the management :D

It was a great success today. Lots of young people interested in coming to the young beekeepers meeting and a few oldies interested in keeping bees also.
