Just watching the news about Russian troop movements along the Ukranian border reminded me about this book by Andrey Kurkov about a beekeeper caught in the grey/neutral zone between Russia and the Ukraine.
I enjoyed it; the author appears to have a genuine understanding of beekeeping and the story's good. I have enjoyed most of Kurkov's other books.
