This is getting overly complex.

I open the cover slip of the mini nuc and drop her in. they are so desperate that they are over the hive to have a queen.

A hive will nurse virgins happily. I'll take a pic of the cage today and post the measurements.

Here is an article on queen rearing which is supported by the NBU. I'm currently attending a course in the Wirral which is using this method and it works very well. Main problem is getting the girls successfully mated.

I am about to trial this or something very similar as with AMM it was a complete waste of time. With my current bees it may work, we will see.
