Girls coming home looking like they have been marked

Some of my girls are coming home looking like they have been marked with this years colour looks like some sort of pollen but not sure what it could be thought HB but dont know of any near me.
Any ideas anyone?

You are right, depends on geo area but around us the Himalayan Balsalm is already out and they get plastered in pollen from that. Does it look like this?

Yes it looks the same on my girls with the exeption being that it is a much neater defined splodge lol

I checked a couple of my hives this weekend and they both looked like they we're packed full of 'queens' !

Looks like Hollyhox pollen to me. Lots here in Kent too.

Ahh that could be it as there is a lot of hollyhocks out round about me,
Just watched the swarm ig ot on sunday beat of a couple of wasps,
good girls they are nearly all black in comparison with my other girls.

Just checked my hives today and my bees are looking exactly the same.
 
ours are coming in the same here in Cumbria, not sure what it is ut Balsom is a good guess
