Is it worth trying to make your own frames (super & brood) or is the price of buying them so low that it's just as cheap?

for the small scale beekeeper it's a no brainer - 'second quality' frames in packs of 50 from Maisie's or big T. In fact, IMHO anyone who forks out their hard earned cash on 'first quality' frames nowadays needs their head read

Buy first quality frames here for 30c less than I could get second quality from thorns

So, first if first quality are cheaper than big T seconds, how much cheaper are seconds? They will be cheaper still?

What is second quality!!!!

If frames has knots, you cannot use them on the hive. Sticks will be twisted in knot points.

What else makes second quality?
Never met that.
