For all those that have problems with foxes, remember to check for fox prints in the snow.

It is the easiest time to look for their nightly habits, and also shows how good your defences are.

my uncle (poultry collector) said that this morning he can see where the rats have been, and where they live!
he'll be digging today, while his 2 whippet lurchers eagerly await any that make a dash for freedom
 
If one does feel the urge to investigate the nightly habits of local "foxes" just make sure you don't get caught - peeping toms tend to get more than just a slap on the wrist these days.
