Also get your mouseguards on, and any woodpecker protection needed, and leave them to it until spring. You might choose a quick open up for Oxalic acid in early Jan, but that is another matter. Consider them bedded down for winter now

WingCo - yes and spend the winter browsing the sales - one hive is of little use to man or beast! A minimum of two will give you more options for next year's manipulations. Oh, go on then, make it three, or four.....
