I do weekly checks up until about late September.I’m struggling to find who you are quoting but the truth is that they should.
A thorough brood check in the spring and one after harvest to look for disease. It’s a must. If you don’t know how to get your SBI to show you.

weekly checks and a thorough examination of the brood are two different things - and should remain soI do weekly checks up until about late September.
