Did he really say he had that many staff?
I don't think so ! I enjoyed this program write up my street. It was a shame that the market gardeners son wasn't going to take over the business. Wanted to ask porridge flour for feeding bee's?

And enough borage fields to make borage honey,.

Did he really say he had that many staff?

5 tonnes of honey is 5000kg and he's selling it at how much?

Borage
454g jar of honey £8.00

5kg food grade bucket of honey £70.00

Well.. just think of all the hours it takes him to fill all those 1lb jars by hand and sticking on the labels... then the cost of the jars and labels....he is giving it away at that price!!!

Pure theater

And the Borage "infused honey" looked pretty grim!

Why mess about with something that tastes so good on its own. In fact that's the first time I've seen infused honey. I suppose he's adding a bit of a twist for the taste buds.

Amateur bees wax candle maker, non of his wicks were dipped!

Thanks for the link, a good program.
FWIW I thought the market garden guy was more genuine than the honey guy, but as has been pointed out you never know what details have been missed/added by editing for tv.
The son seemed nice to me.

One of my bees only has five leg's what should i do..

Look up the apostrophe rules!

However as you are possibly bring truthful which one is missing?

I seem to recall if one of the rear pair of legs is missing, she can not measure the cell and does not lay.
May be another one for the Great Book of Beekeeper's Myths?

I suspect that the bee missing a leg had an accident involving an uncooked sausage....?

Nigella sativa. It’s the latest cure all superfood
:calmdown::calmdown:
Contact dermatitis may occur when the oil is applied directly to the skin..... warning should be given. It is best to test the skin first. Always keep in mind to buy the best Nigella Sativa and not a cheap brand at a local India Shop.

Not something I would put in honey.... Hope this chap has full products liability... or someone could sue the pants off of him!
Can not see any allergen warnings on what I can see of his black seed honey labels..... and honey infused with turmeric......:puke:

Each to their own... and I suppose he does have a varied cosmopolitan public in London to sell to!!
