After speaking to the experts by suspicions were confirmed that I have a drone laying queen, I also had chalk brood. I was advised to shake all the bees out in front of another hive which I have done and they all appear to have settled. What I didn't do is locate the drone laying queen and dispose of her - should I have, will she go into the other hive and continue to lay drones or will the bees kill her leaving the 'good queen'

I obviously didn't think this through before acting.

Hi,
I was amongst the gathering looking at your frame and there again at the end when the course of action was recommended.
Your other 2 hives being queen right wont let the drone layer in.

Good luck
