I have a number of drawn brood frames with partially capped honey and some also with pollen. Assuming no chest freezer space what should I do with them?
I have more than enough for making up nucs.
They're not worth extracting but were they to be cleaned out by bees perhaps they'd be of use next year.
Does anyone put them above the crown board and let the bees clear them? I havn't made notes of which ones came from which hive but they're all from
my one apiary and all hives are (I believe) disease free.

I once put a single box into a dummied down double brood with brood frames above stores frames and a honey super on top.
They did a quite reasonable job of clearing but I never had the need to do it again.
You need to make sure it's honey in the frames not syrup and the nest actually has the need to expand.
I bought swmbo a new freezer and had the old one for bee stuff.

They will be starting to slow down now so
come Autumn they might well need those frames back....
