I, too, had some dodgy teachers. I remember being told at school that thunder was the sound of the clouds crashing back together after the lightning had gone through them. I know a few people who still think that's the truth!
But, I also had some really good teachers who enthused me to go out and find things out for myself.
I guess it's the same in any profession or walk of life.
The Apprentices - how did you learn to make that Brother Adam feeder? I hope someone else didn't work it out for you then write it down in the form of a plan!
I, too, often prefer to be out in my fields working with my hands, but it doesn't mean I don't accaisionally ponder the deeper meaning behind things and maybe pick up a book and find out what someone else thinks about it.
