I’m all packed up and weather is set fair.
Maybe it’s opportune to tackle the new King to amend the charter enabling the Honey Fair to be open on a weekend?

Oh no ... don't start it off here ... more oppression of the Welsh by the English King !!

doubtful seeing as he's already carried on with the slight to the Welsh that Edward started when his brat was born.

The Honey Fair is a unique privilege for us. We are quite happy with weekdays. Saturdays are too busy in Conwy. If the Fair date falls on a Saturday, it moves to Friday, and if on a Sunday it moves to Monday.

Yes of course you’re right. Conwy is very busy as you say. A fair in the middle of it would be logistically very difficult.

maybe it's worth reminding people that when the charter was first granted, the indigenous people of Wales were not even allowed to trade within the town walls of Conwy

Yes, and it continued for several hundred years. Nowadays, we are quite happy for the indigenous people to trade within the Town Walls, eg. people from Anglesey BKA!
