Smoking sting site does work…I just ping the sting out of glove and rub it and it seems ok so doesn’t take much to lose scent of sting

There is no way on God's earth you can absolutely prevent cross infection -so just be sensible and minimise it.
Many associations run a disease course which is never a bad idea.
Not forgetting some disease is omnipresent- just dormant waiting for an event.
