I see that it is nearly Christmas Eve. I will be up to my eyes in cooking, seeing family and hopefully opening presents and putting together hives for next year starting from tomorrow, so I would like to be the first to wish all on this forum a very merry Christmas, to thank admin for the good work and to thank everyone who has been answering my questions since I joined. Have a great time.

Just finished wrapping pressies for each and every one of my bees. Pressies include- DVD's of The Sting, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Super man and the Queen's speech and of course lots of old B movies.

LOL

I too wish everyone a wonderful time with their families and friends and just a wee reminder to check your hives for stores as this has been so far a very open winter and there may be some nasty surprises lurking ahead.

Merry Christmas all.

Happy Christmas every one. I hope Santa brings you all the beekeeping kit you asked him for.

Reciprocal warm thoughts to all - here's to a sting-free, honey-full, Queen right happy year!!

Just finished preparing a modest snack for Father Christmas (a few blinis with best beluga caviar and a bottle of Louis Roederer's finest, since you ask).

Lest I should be otherwise engaged on the morrow, let me add my own best wishes to all on this forum - those whose advice is so valuable :hurray:, those whose offerings are so entertaining :laughing-smiley-014, and especially he who rules over us all with such wisdom not worthy - the very happiest of Christmasses!

Tally Ho!

Visited allotments, hives still there, a few bees coming and going.
Went to plot, got a bag full of fresh first early (new potatoes) that were growing in greenhouse. Lifted swede, leek and parsnips, picked some sprouts, all for Christmas dinner. Heaven. Add that to the sage and onion stuffing, and apple sauce already made with stuff from my garden.....

Lots of the best for everyone, well maybe! just hoping TOWMBO's pressie will be a blind eye to my extravagances.:)
Merry Christmas to everyone, especially the one who makes it all possible:xmas-smiley-013::xmas-smiley-013::xmas-smiley-013:

Now that Christmas has arrived, my best wishes to one and all.

May peace break out between the TBHers, the poly fillers and the national express and may members of the Forum break into unconfined joy as they are voted into the board of the BBKA. May Monsanto go green and the huntin, shooting, fishin brigade learn to love and cuddle up to things instead of killing them.

And may Admin find ways to censure all those intolerant people who
PISS ME OFF.

(Oh, sorry. Peace and love, peace and love.)

Just got up for a cup of tea before going up to the chapel to light the candles and tend the fire for the 0630 service.
Looking forward now to the Boxing day hunt to burn off some of the Christmas calories and then the Ospreys Scarlets match to pile on some more beer miles

Merry Christmas to one an' all

Have managed to have assemble most of the family for drinks last night..our one O'clock Christmas Lunch will be delayed as festivities went on far too long last night

i am expecting now to eat about 7:00pm tonight if the current moaning ,drinking of various hangover cures and patent remedies continue much longer ;)

Google has this down as:

"Merry Christmas to you and peace impact of Joint"

Incorrect, I take it??!! :rolleyes::)

Right get to church or chapel you bunch of heathens and sing happy birthday to the baby Jesus or you will be joining me in the 23rd pit of hell, torture by OA and thymol.

YOU HAVE BEE N WARNED

Resent the idea that I keep my little darlings in the 23rd pit of hell, but then I only use thymol, don't OA, so maybe they're only in limbo?

Bugger!!!
Just as I've cleared away and settled in my hubby's arms with a nice glass of vintage port his pager has gone off and he's out on a mountain rescue shout.
Bugger!!!

Tough Luck, EricA, but at least you can now watch whatever you like on TV.
Or you could if there were anything you liked on the schedules. Downton, maybe? Pretty dismal Christmas on the box as usual, and not one DVD as a pressie either this year!
:xmas-smiley-024:

Happy Christmas to all, and thanks for all the good advice - sought and unsought - this year. My only concern is that I Hve had a large number of bees flying . . . . on Christmas Day, fergoodnesssake"
