I have seen recipes for Candy, and for Fondant
I just assumed 'Candy' was something Americans ate.

Does anyone know the difference,
or have experience of using the two.
What do Bees prefer ?

Recipes about the same. Depends on where you are maybe. Still 100% sugar, generally with water to suit.

Regards, RAB

essentially no difference so get up off your fanny, stick your bee gear in the trunk of your automobile and head down to the hives to give the bees their candy.

.... and then slap them on a flatbed, drive them across a few states and wonder why they disappear or choose to go and live with someone else!
