Buying a Bee Hive?

I am in the market for buying a Bee Hive and have almost settled for a Maisemore National 14x12 complete 2 supers with frames and wax (manley) and a glass clearer board, is this a good supplier and a good product? Your thoughts please.

Thank you

Shoot Hivemaker a pm.

He has sold to a few members on here and his hives are the best.

Also its all british Cedar that he mills himself so no carbon footprint.

He has loads of pics on the forum of the manufacture process.

(oops just noticed you changes your post to 14x12)

If you go for glass quilts(I do) you will need to get them off for wood boards when you winter feed due to the condensation and damp they cause in winter.

I can also back up Admin's comments. You won't find better quality hives anywhere than Hivemaker's - and he hasn't promised me a pint to say this.....yet!

I have two hives from Hivemaker. They are fantastic quality. Highly recommended and extremely reasonably priced. They come fully assembled so no fiddly glueing or nailing of joints. You can see some of them in my albums. Both before and after bees. Good luck
