The Day i stop learning is the day i die

Wait when you get old and you have dementia:
every morning you have new frieds and all things are new to you. It is a moment of innovation!!!

Stressed people use to say often "I do not know".
Demented never use that expression.

Hot summers day 2 years ago- call to get bumbles out of a loft as builders wouldn't go up there till all gone.

Suit on, ladders, container for bees, small spade to gently lift them into new temporary home, crawled over an insulated loft worrying about putting a foot through the ceiling. Got all the Bumbles safely into the box, crawled backwards to the ladder, in sauna conditions, back down the ladder, vision impaired by sweat running down my face into my eyes, Suit clinging to me like a wet T shirt competition - and when I was ready to go the gentleman gave me £1 for my trouble.:svengo:...He was nearly 80- what could I say.. just 'Thank you I will put it in my charity box!'
