Trouble is, with an 'honesty box' type of payment it relies on people being honest enough to pay ... You only have to look at ebay to see how they have got it all pretty tightly sown up these days ... you can't even send an email address through their message system, weeds them out with some very clever software that even susses out quite complicated ways of writing an email address in a way designed to avoid the software ... it's taken them a few years to get it all in place but what with paypal and their system of monthly billing it all ensures they get their cut, regardless.

The ability of a small website to replicate this type of restrictive system must be very limited. If it had been me I would have probably sought an upfront payment for placing an item in the auction and a smaller 'final value' commission at the end. At least you get something for your efforts ...
