Best time of the year to have tractor bang a post in next to your hives

Press, knocker or post hole auger - who cares, just get the job done NOW! Waiting until after you might get some unwanted visitors is just plain stoopid. All this palaver over one single post? Access and soil damage might be a better consideration, but timing? Get it done at the farmer's convenience.
 
Just get on with it. Bees are not so sensitive that they will all drop dead because of slight disturbance, if they are disturbed. Had tractors landscaping around a hill where my bees are. No problem
 
Thank you, I was thinking anytime now would be good. Just wanted to know what your thoughts would be. The post is about 1' in diameter, and just on the edge of a stream. I wish I could do it myself.
