Best Book I have read in ages

I am currently half way through one of my Christmas Stocking Fillers.
'Mating Biology of the Honey Bee' - Koeniger(s), Ellis and Conner.
I saw it on the Northern Bee Books List and thought it would please SWMBO if I came up with one suggestion for a present. I wonder how many forum members have read this book and what are your views?
I have found it challenges some of the common views I have had expressed to me over the years and makes free mating of queens a 'lottery by design'.
I am enjoying it and hope that others do as well.

Thanks for pointing this out, i really wanted to read this one, i believe its only been out for a year if that!! will be ordering it too, as soon as funds permit!! It is Pricey but a wealth of knowledge in one book, great authors, very interesting speakers too!!

B+ also pointed me to this you tube recording. I have just watched it and found it riveting, particularly as I am now 2/3rds through the book.

Absolutely! So many answered questions.

I gave my copy to friends in Over-Stratton, Somerset when I was there last time. I saw Larry Connor this past November and he gave me another copy...signed by the authors. Thanks Larry!
