Absolute Beginners Course
we are now running courses
Every Saturday & Sunday May 1st onwards

( Please Note You will need your own Bee Suit )
This Course Is designed for the absolute beginners those who know nothing and most likely don't have bees
or have just got there bees and need to know everything they need to start!
Our one day course covers everything you need to get you going
The Course runs from 9am until around 5pm with breaks for lunch and tea breaks
MAX 6 People per course date
Please note our days fill very quickly book early to avoid disappointment
The Day Will Consist of
You get lots of hands on experience
Equipment – what to buy and where to buy it from to help you save £££££
Where to keep your bees, with tips on urban beekeeping and small gardens
Getting your bees
Inspecting the colony and finding the queen – there are at least 12 hives in our apiary for you to practise on.
Feeding
Preventing swarms
Increasing your bee colony's
Keeping your bees healthy
Honey Collection

‘What to do and when ( Printed Notes & Factsheets )
The use of protective equipment – bee suits
Home Made Lunch & Teas Coffees and homemade cakes
