could be rubber paint like used on tyres to make them shiny

Honest, I'm trying. :) :)

Those Americans will be calling OSR soft set creamed honey next. No latex (rubber) in emulsion paint. Calling it latex paint must be a ploy to sex the product up a little. It might even give magnolia a new lease of life.

Beeswax oil mix

I am trying to source a cheaper supplier of linseed than the DIY giants but have not tracked one down as yet.

However I have been offered FOC 5 litres of unused Olive Pomace Oil which is an edible form of olive oil. Does anyone think I could substitute linseed oil with this or as I suspect will I just end up in a sticky mess?

Regards
Jim

Olive Pomace Oil
Oil consisting of a blend of refined olive-pomace oil and virgin olive oils fit for consumption as they are. It has a free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, of not more than 1 gram per 100 grams and its other characteristics correspond to those laid down for this category. In no case shall this blend be called "olive oil".
