Bees were loving this Plum tree today

My hive is sheltered by two plumtrees but the buds are still green.....as soon as they open I'll put the first super on.
 
Its a Cherry Plum there are about 20 of them within the orchard

Way down here mine started to flower last Friday and are now in full bloom, so interestingly no difference between us and Somerset - I always did like that part of the UK.

Blackthorn usually starts about a week later.

Wot no plums

That is amazing, although I think it is a prunus rather than a plmb (God that sounds pompous....ignore me....Lovely plums!!!!:iagree:
