Hi all so I still have some in a tree well today I had a swarm move into a rhubarb forcer. So any ideas on best way to get these in a hive? I'm thinking of building a wooden plate then cutting middle out and standing the forcer on top of brood box, does this sound the best plan? Any ideas be great as I am a newbie ha.

Tip them out

That seemed to work. And they are relatively calm too which must be good

They seem like a ideal place for them that's for sure, although this was a large old forcer with a cracked top.

The update is they have worked on 90% of the national brood box and there appears to be eggs. Just waiting for the beans to flower now. I think I may need to remove the Qe as no activity in the super.

Should I let them have a super anyway brood and half? As it's not a 14x12. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The swarm is too small to occupy more space that it does now.
It takes 4 weeks that colony starts to enlarge. Half of recent bees will die before it.

How many frames bees cover now in brood?
