Storm,i think you will find it perfectly easy to understand if you read a little from the link below...it's simple really:rolleyes:

Excellent advice. So far the bees I haven't got, have escaped and stung to death or not, my Schrödinger's cat. But it does not matter because he is dead and she is also alive whilst being stung by my pet elephant. Easy apart from where does the monkey dildo go?:cool:

and if the equation does not make sense.........................
dream up something, give it a pseudo scientific name like
Dark matter oooooooooooooooooooooooo
or pixie dust
:ack2:

Sir, you besmurch the good name of Pixie Dust (TM) * by mentioning it in the same breath as intelligent design. How very dare you!

* World wide patents pending

Hem. Something else that got nicked off the pagans.

Yet another thread which I can't understand -it's a bit like reading an article by Ivor Clayton.

Returning briefly to the original topic of this thread (eccentric, I know; forgive me ;):rolleyes:)...

The most readable article in BBKA News is a very complimentary review of "Beekeeping - A Novices Guide" by David Wootton. This is the second edition, which is claimed to be an improvement of the first, taking into account criticism by experienced beekeepers.

I have not seen this book referred to on this forum. If it's as good as the glowing review says it is, that's a surprise

Anyone read it?

The bits of BBKA News that made me smile most were

  • the assertion that Apimondia 2011 was a bit like the BBKA Spring Convention - er, except that it was in Buenos Aires!!
  • The reference in one of the articles to bees being so dense in a hive that they are "literally shoulder-to-shoulder"
