Banana wine

Anyone know why homebrew Banana wine tastes nothing like Bananas?

other brews do usually taste a little like the fruit they are made from but banana dont

No, I don't, but that is why banana is good for putting a bit of body in other wines you might wish to make.

all the wine i have ever tried to make , tasted awlfull so i stopped making it , I produce gallons of every thing else tho, hic hic hic

elderberry wine is my all time favourite home made wine, only a very sore point this year as my winter supply was not to my usual standards and will take around 30 years to reduce on the tannin levels so I have bolstered myself with a dazaling supply of tea wines all twining stuff, favorrite is raspberry,logun and strawb tea
