Bait hive transfer

As now is getting to bait hive time I thought I’d give that a go and pop a couple out. My question is what is the best course of action once you see a swarm is present?

Shake into brood box ASAP? Leave in bait hive overnight? Any guidance would be awesome.

I transfer in the evening of the swarms arrival.
