Apiguard Treatment.

When treating with Apiguard does the entrance block have to be completely removed for ventilation?

I do not because of wasp pressure at this time of year. I do not think ventilation is much of an issue but will stand to be corrected

entrance block is fine, but it is now advised not to push the inspection tray all the way in but leave a couple of inches gap

I don't know sorry, this was just advised on a discussion on Apiguard may even have read it on their website, my problem is (as SWMBO often points out) my mind is stuffed so full of useful (as well as just weird but entertaining) information I sometimes loose track of it

I never take my entrance blocks out.

Half my hives have permanently reduced entrances.
