Hi All,
Wondering on this rainy day, is there a good reason why a British Standard Commercial is any better than a Standard National 14x12 brood box? Can’t see it myself, but then again, I quite often miss the blindingly obvious.

Just a query from a beekeeper who’s stuck indoors ..

are they ....easier to use, larger, any advantages over a 14x12 in working/cost wise.
I'm looking to switch over from standard national to a larger hive.
