looks good and sounds tasty!!

Your recipe or borrowed from somewhere?

There is a fair chance that none of the ingredients have been anywhere near a nut tree at any time ever. Can't count on it, of course!

So where do almonds grow! Or am I being stupid!

I stand by my statement. I have worked in the aromatherapy/essential oils supply industry.

So where do almonds grow!

They grow on almond trees, which are Prunus spp - think of plums, peaches etc. The fleshy part of the fruit is removed, and the kernel is cracked open to get at the seed. ;)

recipe from Norfolk beekeepers demo day a couple of yrs ago

50ml bottle of Almond Oil (from chemist)
1 oz (28g) of grated wax (I use cappings wax)
2 teaspoons of honey

put wax and almond oil in a honey jar (or similar) in a saucepan of water.
apply heat to saucepan
stir mixture until fully melted together.
remove jar from pan and turn off heat source
stir in the honey
keep stirring as it cools.

when cool, put into containers.
