About to start - East Sussex

Hi - I'm on the verge of taking the plunge into beekeeping. But I could do with some folks near by who might help/give advise/pass on bargains etc.

good time of year to be starting

Just helped set up a hive, with a newbee. Collected bees in hive yesterday from a retireing beek,

Great to see the bees taking off into the early morning sunshine and getting their bearings ... still a heart stopping moment as the entrance block is released and the bees all pour out!

ENJOY ( and this forum too... a wealth of information.. peppered with humor and occasional mud slinging... from those who love to play with mud!!!)
