    All true you can never be sure, but the least we can do is stop purposely feeding our bees processed sugar and water

    hi everyone is there anyone out there that make there own foundation? I made some today and it turned out well but theirs a few specs of dirt embedded in the wax strips, my question is does the wax have to be spotless before the bees to build it out and expand it, thanks

    thanks for the replys, I use paper from some old novel books which im sure isn't harmful to the bees, its one of my three hives in particular which I might try and requeen.

    sorry for getting back late, when I got around to checking the hives all three had laying queens and thankfully all three a flat out working on the ivy even in wet weather, thanks everyone for there help
