Looking good Steve
If you want some i have loads of the bloody stuff..
This batch has turned out lovely..the main forage at the moment is thistle and phacelia with bramble further afield.
Lovely.
But...
Mine has a walrus on it
I can't help you with the jacks maybe have a look on ebay for (scaffold screw jacks).. honey wise from your own bees...be patient as next year will be your year...Haha where do we meet? In fact, I need 4 of those base jacks you use for your hive stands. Can't find anyone local who has any!
Just bought some honey off Beefriendly yesterday. Nice stuff! Hopefully my bees will get their act together soon, feels weird having bees yet buying honey
Lovely.

As long as there is no walrus IN IT I'm sure that will be fine

I like how simple and effective the label is I’m only selling to friends of friends and family and this the sort of label I’d like
Here you go..I like how simple and effective the label is I’m only selling to friends of friends and family and this the sort of label I’d like
You need to be careful .. the key word is SELLING .. as soon as you SELL honey to anyone you need to have legal labels. Giving it away .. you can do as you like but the minute you take any money for it .. you have to comply.
I'm afraid that isn't true Parglye. If you sell to a middleman who then sells in on to another retailer you do need to comply with the detailed honey selling legislation. If you are selling from a market stall, your gate or local shop or whatever all it needs is a label saying honey and a weight.
It's all about trace-ability if they buy from you/local shop etc they can trace it back to you etc.
That said; trading standard prefer it if you follow the recommendations.
