About that video

- bees cannot use skimmed milk because half of it is lactose what bees cannot digest. The rest of powder is good quality protein.

- I use dry yeast : soya flour 2:1 . Too much soya makes the patty dry

- mould to patty a ply where you put a 10 mm wooden frame.
the size of mould is so that it is half of grease paper. You put half under, then patty, then tvist upper part over the patty and roll the stuff to level of tree frames.

Is this all you use?

No. I will use this.
This spring I try, how bees like patty without pollen. I still have 8 years old pollen. Mice have not eaten it, somehow.

1 kg sugar
500 g fructose
date package (80% sugar)
7 dl water

1/2 kg irradiated pollen
1/2 kg soya flour
1 kg dry yeast

2 dl rape oil (not olive oil) ... or 20% fat soya flour
multivitamin pill
B-multi vitamin pill
1 lemon juice
magnesium pill

How to take pollen from old combs

Keep in cold combs or in freezener. Comb becomes crispy. Then you crush it.

Pollen has 30% honey and it keeps the pollen pellet together in cold
