You Tube Links.

Why is that I seem unable to enter any You Tube links that actually show the You Tube Screen.

It works for me in other places and I do it in my ebay ads, but just cant get it to work here, although other posters manage it...

How are you putting the link ?

Just type or copy/paste the url,the forum software passes the link for you.

Thanks, but I know how to post the links but cant do it so that the actual You Tube screen shows on the page.

Works fine for me .... And ... A Routemaster with a lower deck full of passengers AND a conductor on the step .... doing circuits and bumps on the skid pan in front of an audience unprotected by barriers ... fantastic ... surprising what has happened in 30 years of cotton wool H & S !!!

It could be because of the feature=player embeded code.

Go for straight code for a single video like: http://www.*******.com/watch?v=YbLy8KZQwtk

You are trying to pass to much information or a video that is part of a group of video's from a youtube member

Notice the v=
That is in the url,thats the code you want like in above,if I removed the ***** and put youtube then that link passes the video below

What you are saying I should put in is what I did put in.. and that is all it shows on the page.. The link works if you click on it, but what I'm saying is that the YT image of the screen doesnt show........just the link.

sometimes I sit in a quiet corner of a room and mumble to myself, I think it's my brain trying to reboot it's self however half way through It has a power cut

Most of the crowd was waiting for rides in the bus, no seat belts, no doors, no H&S

straight cut and paste from the address bar of Chrome, i'll try it from IE 10 as well

I think I am being misunderstood here.

Im not saying that the links I am copy/pasting dont work, I'm saying that what I copy/paste from the YT page address bar only shows that embedded link,

whereas what I see on the page where Muswell has posted shows (without clicking on anything) the actual You Tube screen with a bus in it..
