I shall, but have had to settle this year with one from Sainsburys, will not be the same as a real butchers haggis from Scotland.

I used to have it every week when I was at uni in Dundee.
Nothing like the stuff from the butchers. Not sure SWMBO would be keen on a request for Haggis for dinner. the last time I had it was in Portpatrick, deep fried Haggis from the chippie!

Did you follow it up with a deep fried battered Mars Bar ????

Not tonight but now that you have planted the seed I will get some this week as it's lovely.

We celebrated Burns last night, for logistical reasons.

Haggis from a small village butcher in Perthshire,

accompanied by a few drams of Glenlivet,

- tatties and neepes, of course.

With a few drams of Glenlivet,

watched 'The Angels' Share',

had a rare cigar

and washed it all down with a few drams of Glenlivet.

Cracking evening!

Dusty.

Tatties neeps and haggis done to perfection tonight can't beat it . Just back from Gran Cannaria and there's nothing to compare.
