In view of the interest shown in my cedar and having had chance to think about why I am getting a different price range to most of you there are a few points I feel I should make.
1. I didn't go to any of the "DIY Sheds" I went to my local saw mill.
2. The cutting list was a "wood to cover" cutting list i.e. they could supply me the wood in what ever size they had to allow me to get what I wanted from it e.g. a 4 foot by 6" board and a 5 foot by 6" board to make the 44" x 12" side. As it happened they didn't most of the wood only needed cut to length.
3. The wood was not PAR nut rough sawn which is OK for the design I was using.
4. The only wood where the size was really critical was the top bars and they were bought over size and machined by us.
5. The roof being covered is exterior ply.
Hope this helps. I will be away from a few minutes time basically until Monday so sorry if I don't reply to any queries.
