I have found I have a bucket of very dark honey from when I initially kept bees (20yr break).
This is about 12kg of honey produced 1998 or before.
Obviously I can't feed it to the bees.
Make mead?
Any other ideas?
Market for vintage honey? 🙂

Go on, label it as matured for 25 years!

Turn it into honey cakes and biscuits and sell them instead

Advertise it as "Honey your Dad used to produce" to get the nostalgia juices flowing - have a skep on the label

Well I read somewhere that they found honey in one of the pyramids that was 3000years old and still edible. On that basis your honey should be edible if it was stored in a sealed tub.

As I have to add a BBE date to sell honey I've been tempted to put 5023!
