Can someone quickly tell me what thickness is best for polycarbinate crown boards. Thinking of getting a couple. Thanks

I think you should be thinking what thickness of insulation is best above them.

I used 5mm light diffuser polycarb because it was cheapest I could find.

I recently made 14 crown boards and 3mm thickness is more than enough.

I have top bee space and 3mm sheets are fine unless using a rapid feeder when they can sag.

A couple of bits of old bottom bars on top of the frames solve that, but not with bees that like to use lots of propolis [emoji6]
