When it's really cold you get a break from worrying... until someone mentions woodpeckers...and then you start to worry about stores again until you worry about swarming.

How about a Mann Lake National Hive is not a National Hive..... you get home with your nuc to populate the hive only to realise the frames don’t fit, not even close.

Then to make matters worse, having made the Newbie doofus mistake of buying said hive, Mann Lake desert the UK market so you have defunct bas**rd boxes that are only good as firewood

Nobody tells you how much equipment you will end up with.

Also any person who gets stung by a wasp, bit by an ant or pricks their finger on a thorn when gardening was really stung by one of ' YOUR ' bees...!

And also ' YOUR ' bees have moved into my bird box, there must be almost 50 of them.
