busily fixing a shed door (nowadays a half hour job lasts a whole shift) seeded up another load of honey with award winning soft set honey and put more honey in the warming cabinet as there seems to be a bit of a run on.

After many days with nothing emerging, today's sunshine and warmth has brought out all my girls. One hive with pollen from snowdrops or possibly gorse as that is in full bloom. Lost two colonies this winter - one my fault as should have united (unwell at the time) and another I cannot explain.

I've not been to Barrybados for a while, how are the verges along Port road looking for Crocuses? There used to be a splendid display.
