I give a quick blast of a blowtorch to BBs not currently in use. Any gaps in the joints then get Brummer stopping. Seems to work for me. If I had more hives then that may not be as viable a proposition, I accept.Dream on...... Wax moth have survived my solar wax melter and my freezer

Just had a listen to the sides of the hives and 8 mini nucs all are alive and making a nice humming sound, which is like buetifull music.View attachment 41648View attachment 41649
The two paynes nucs at the end of the row are completely under snow except for an area at the back and front of the nucs
