I have a permanent search on FB for insulation sheets. Every few months some come on - surplus new or used- and I buy cheap..
(ditto engineering pallets)

But I am mean.

even buying from B&Q (so not the cheapest) an 8x4 sheet of Celotex costs under thirty quid you can line over a dozen roofs with that (some will need two smaller pieces rather than one whole), one tube of stickslikeshit adhesive to fix it into the roofs, so you are looking at about two and a half quid per roof, probably a lot cheaper from a local merchant or, as madasafish says, facebook, gumtree et al always have bargins featured.
Hardly going to break the bank is it?
