Save for dust extraction, my workshop is pretty much there.

As my wife's father was frequently heard to say:
"Tell me what you want and I'll show you how to do without it"

(He was Scottish.)

(I wish I had said "I want your daughter" )

Whereas I had a fine fly fishing friend who had bought yet another ridiculously overpriced rod. When his wife commented, "But you don't need another rod" he justified the purchase with the comment "I know I don't need it - but I want it"

I bought some Ryobi basic 1+ 18v tools 14 years ago before I retired from the joinery trade, to show it's age some of the 1+ is the the darker blue models and the newer stuff 10 years old or so are the line green ones. It is all still going strong using the 10y/o lithum 1.3ah batteries.
The older Nicad batteries have had their day and one day I will get around to see if I can re -cell them with Li cells if I cna source a small enough BMS board.

My 2 10 y/o batteries power a right angle drill body, a 2 speed torque drill/driver, a percussion drill, vaccum and a mouse corner sander.

Very impressed with the few tools I have on 1+.

Triton super jaws xl , brilliant mobile clamp , seriously strong ! Foot pedal operated so no one arming a clamp

Most recent purchases have been Makita hedge trimmer. 2 x 5ah batteries 18v. Wonderful machine.
Also Makita angle grinder (corded).

Captain Cymru - I have a Triton Superjaws, now quite old and has given brilliant service. I sometimes have to keep a foot on the pedal to keep the jaws pressure 100% but still a very good piece of kit. I’ve mainly used it for chainsaw work using the log jaws attachment.👍
