Thanks as I said Craig you can come and see them in action anytime I'm taking the supers OFF

I will give you a shout when something good is going on.

Harper Adams here we come

here you go the dates
The 2013 BBKA Spring Convention is to be held from 12 to 14 April 2013 at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire.

Not a bad day - a lot quieter than last year though as we all noticed - Beecrazy - seemed to have missed you, maybe next time (dabbling with the idea of going to the spring convention - we'll see) Got a few bargains, not many there today but a nice stainless strainer for a tenner and an Empire smoker for £12.50 not too bad. And it looks like I've wangled a decent price for invert syrup(exact figure not mentioned yet) if I go and get it from Brecon (no big deal to travel as I'm occasionally up that way)

I dont think the traders did too well today judging on the amount of people, which is a shame.

Hope they come back next year,

Sorry i missed you jenkins maybe next year or at harper

Something to do with the weather perhaps? Our little adventure to drive 30 odd miles to do Mod 6 involved shovels and a saw.

Almost turned back myself when found the A44 was closed but as I was on the TBKA mini bus we decided to go up to Mac and cross to Caersws and down. arrived 1hr1/2 late but arrived. It was nice for the lectures is was quiet but feel sorry for traders.

the RNA V Varroa thing looks intersting watch this space. Found it a bit embaracing when some one in the crowd ask the lecturer his salary, how rude.

A bit worrying though - just walking past the CWJ stand and she waved at me, called me by my first name and said - 'your parcels are ready for you out the back when you're ready for them'(in Welsh of course) - luckily SWMBO wasn't with me

I wasn't going to go because of the snow here, but after digging the car out and realising the main roads were clear I went with my 7 yr old daughter. I was glad I went, we really enjoyed it. Failed to meet any forum folk but had an interesting chat with the bbka lady doing the demonstration area, and picked up some bargains in the trade show.
